On March 14th, PCTI HOSA held a Jeans Day fundraiser, with half of the proceeds being donated to the Kidney Cancer Association and the American Cancer Society. This cause holds special meaning for our chapter, as one of our AOHS and PCTI HOSA Chapter officers is currently courageously fighting kidney cancer. In her honor, our school community rallied together and raised over $2,000 for this important cause. We are incredibly thankful and blessed by the outpouring of support from teachers, AOHS students, and staff, many of whom donated above the requested amount to ensure the fundraiser’s success. Thank you to everyone who contributed — your kindness and generosity made a true difference!

Congratulations Athlete of the Month, Gianna McCloskey! Gianna, a junior in the PCTI Academy of Criminal Justice, is a standout on the girls bowling team. This season, Gianna helped her team win counties back-to-back and qualified for the Tournament of Champions both as an individual and with her team. She proudly earned the highest series score for the section, taking home a personal trophy, and celebrated a season-high score of 233. Aside from bowling, Giana is also on the PCTI softball team. She is deeply involved in her community—volunteering with the West Milford Special Olympics where she supports athletes with disabilities in bowling, track, and a weekend sleepaway camp focused on track and field. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending summers as a camp counselor, where she loves swimming, working with children, and being at the beach.
